Recruiting, training and keeping a good poultry worker

A good poultry worker is someone who notices at 6 am that a drinker is flowing less than yesterday, and says so. That cannot be bought; it is recruited with method, trained by demonstration and kept with clear rules and recognition. A worker who leaves after one flock takes with him everything he has learned about your houses, and the next one repeats the same brooding mistakes. This lesson gives the complete method: define the need, search, interview, test, train for thirty days, set the rules, and make people want to stay.
