Everything you need to know about our rearing equipment
For 100 chicks: 4 chick drinkers, 4 chick feeders, 1 gas brooder, 1 thermo-hygrometer and disinfectants for biosecurity. Our 200-chick kit is perfectly suited.
The drinkers should be placed at the height of the chick's back and spread evenly across the area to make access to water easier. Recommended spacing: 1 drinker for 25 chicks maximum.
Comfort zone: 32-35°C under the gas brooder for the first days, then gradually reduce by 2-3°C per week according to the chicks' behaviour. The thermo-hygrometer is essential.
Daily cleaning of drinkers and feeders, full disinfection between each flock and weekly disinfection during rearing. Simple protocols supplied with the products.
Absolutely. We specifically select equipment that withstands humidity, temperature variations and intensive use in a tropical climate.
