The hatchery, from egg to box
Everything happens on site in Agnibilékrou: breeders, incubation, hatching, sorting and packing.
Breeders and hatching eggs
Our chicks come from our own breeder farm. Hatching eggs are selected before they go into incubation.
Controlled incubation
Temperature, humidity and egg turning are controlled throughout incubation, right up to hatching.
Hand sorting at hatching
Every chick is sorted by hand: only lively, well-formed chicks leave. They receive starter feed from hatching.
Ventilated boxes of 50
Chicks are packed in ventilated boxes of 50, labelled (type of chick, date), ready for collection or transport.
