You have heard a thousand pieces of advice, often contradictory, and every failed flock is expensive. This book puts things in order: a complete method, in the order a farmer meets them, from choosing your production to running a large farm.
In five levels and 42 lessons, you learn to choose your production, prepare an open-sided house suited to hot climates, manage a flock from day one to sale, spot diseases early, decide with your own figures and organise a large farm.
NEXTEKCI is an approved hatchery in Côte d’Ivoire. Its founder, Abdul Hussein Chouman, created the NEXTEKCI poultry training so that every farmer can access the hatchery’s knowledge. This volume is its first cycle.
Choose your production, prepare the open-sided house, receive the chicks.
Water, feed, heat, light, weighing: from day one to sale.
Biosecurity, spotting diseases early, acting with the veterinarian.
Deciding with your own figures: costs, margins, losses, indices.
Organising several houses, staff, procedures and sales.
