Written procedures: write an instruction sheet everyone follows
Ask three workers how they clean a drinker: you will get three answers, and the flock will get three qualities of water. A farm that rests on people's memory changes quality every time a person changes, takes a day off or gets tired. The written procedure solves this problem: the task is done the same way, by anyone, at any hour, and someone checks. This lesson teaches you to write an instruction sheet in four columns, to test it, to post it and to keep it alive, with two complete sheets as examples.
