Production planning: single flock, multiple flocks, all-in / all-out, downtime

A farm without planning sells when the chickens are ready, buys when the store is empty and receives chicks when NEXTEKCI has room. A farm with planning knows in January what it will sell in December, orders its chicks six weeks ahead, and places its downtimes on the slack weeks. This lesson defines the words (flock, single flock, multiple flocks, all-in / all-out, downtime), sets out the cycle calculation, compares the two ways of organising three houses and builds, as a table, the calendar of a year for one house. The case study of lesson 10 does the same for three.
