Behind every sustainable business, there is a family story. That of NEXTEKCI begins long before 2006, long before the incubators and the departures on Monday and Thursday. It starts with one man: Chouman Abbas, the father of the founder.
A builder father
Arriving very young in Côte d'Ivoire with nothing but his determination, Chouman Abbas worked tirelessly, from his adolescence, to build his life with his own hands. He first developed a thriving business, then a commercial layer farm, which became his pride and the school for the whole family.
Every morning, at dawn, he would go to take care of his hens with meticulous care and contagious passion. It is in the eyes of a son who saw his father build, day after day, with infinite patience and exemplary rigor, that the vocation of Chouman Abdul Hussein, founder of NEXTEKCI, was born.
The school of rigor and perseverance
In the family farm in Agnibilékrou, the future founder learned much more than a trade:
- perseverance in the face of the toughest challenges;
- patient construction, step by step, stone by stone;
- passion for living beings and well-done work;
- respect for partners and clients, treated with dignity.
These four values passed down by the parents are today the DNA of NEXTEKCI. They guide every hatch, every piece of advice given to a poultry farmer, every box of 50 day-old chicks that leaves the hatchery.
To mum as well, a deep thought
Alongside Papa Chouman Abbas, there was Mum. The NEXTEKCI site puts it simply: "Papa Chouman Abbas and Mum showed us that true wealth is not measured in money, but in positive impact on the lives of others." Perhaps this is the most beautiful lesson: to succeed is first to serve.
A living legacy in every chick
Founded on 1 June 2006 in Agnibilékrou, NEXTEKCI was not born from a business plan, but from a transmission. The impeccable work ethic, long-term vision, and the belief that authentic success is built on mutual respect: all of this comes from the parents.
Today, when a poultry farmer from Bouaké, Daloa, or Abidjan receives their batch, they also receive, unknowingly, a bit of that legacy. "They are our roots, our eternal pride," summarises the founder.
