Stocks and purchasing: feed, litter, cleaning products, spare parts
A house of 2,000 five-week-old broilers eats more than six bags a day. The day the store is empty, there is no catching up: the chickens lose weight, fight when feeding resumes, and the flock takes a delay still measurable at sale. The same logic applies to the litter that does not arrive the day before the chicks, to the brooder part missing on the cold night, to the disinfectant ordered on the day of the downtime. This lesson teaches you to keep a stock with a sheet, to calculate a reorder point, to buy with method and to receive what you have paid for, for the four families of products of a farm.
