Internal control: checklists, rounds, monthly audit, team meeting
A farm can have a fine organisation chart, signed job descriptions and twelve posted procedures, and lose a flock because nobody looked at whether all that was really done. Internal control is the safety net: simple, regular checks, known to all, that say every day whether what is planned is done, and that catch the mistake before it costs. It is not distrust: the same rules for everyone protect the honest worker as much as the entrepreneur. This lesson gives the four tools (checklist, round, monthly audit, fifteen-minute meeting), their models as tables, and the way to correct a deviation without accusing.
