The technician's indicators: daily gain, feed conversion, livability, efficiency index, eggs per hen housed

A farmer says "the flock went well". A technician says "livability 94.3%, average weight 2.1 kg at 42 days, feed conversion ratio 1.75, efficiency index 270". The first sentence allows nothing; the second allows you to compare, correct and improve. This lesson opens the last level of the Technician cycle: it sets the five figures you must be able to calculate in your head, on any flock, in an open-sided house, under the climate of Côte d'Ivoire.
