Nutrients: energy, protein and amino acids, minerals, vitamins, and what each one does
A bag of feed is a bag of nutrients. The chicken does not eat "maize" or "soya": it eats energy, protein, minerals and vitamins, and turns them into meat or eggs. Feed is 60 to 70% of what a chicken or an egg costs. Whoever knows what is in the bag buys better, judges better and understands why a flock grows or does not grow.
