Field exercise: weigh the feed given over 3 days and compare with the table
This whole level rests on one question: is the flock eating what it should? You cannot answer it from memory or by eye. This exercise has you weigh, three days in a row, all the feed that enters the house and all that remains, count the birds, read the water and the temperature, then compare with the table. At the end, you will have a figure, a gap in percent, and a reading. It is the technician's basic action in nutrition.
