External and internal parasites: recognise, describe, prevent
Parasites do not kill overnight like Newcastle disease. They steal. They steal blood, nutrients, eggs, growth, a little every day, flock after flock, and the farmer gets used to mediocre results without understanding why. A technician knows how to see them before they become expensive: a cardboard trap under a perch, a handful of droppings turned over, a feather lifted. This lesson teaches you to recognise, to describe for the vet and to prevent. Never to treat: that is for the local vet to decide.
